Each created zone must have an associated messaging field completed.
Each messaging field is broken into four sections:
- Subject: This is the header or name of the alert.
- Description: This is a short 300 character text field containing alert notification essentials.
- Instructions: Provides room for more detailed information.
- Additional Information: Typically contains links or supplementary content useful to the recipient.
SMS and Voice messages contain only the Subject, Description and Instructions information with a link to more details (Additional Information). Voice messages will not contain a link.
Messages can be personalized to users through the inclusion of Variables within the body of the communication.
