3. Admin Management: Add New

 

Adding new Administrators

1) To add a new Region Administrator or Alert Administrator select the Administrators option from the left side menu, then press the ADD NEW button.

2) Choose the Administrator type to add. Region Administrators have all permissions, Alert Administrators have limited permissions. Press the NEXT button to continue.

3) Complete the form for the person you are appointing as an administrator. Specify if you want the new admin to have access to billing reports. Specify an account password or auto-generate one by pressing the Generate Password button.
IMPORTANT – Make note of the password, it must be communicated to the recipient separately.  Remind the recipient to change the password immediately after logging in.
Press the NEXT button to continue.

 

4) Validate the Invite details. Upon pressing the CONFIRM button an email invite will be sent to the newly appointed administrator.

5) A sample admin invite email displays the account credentials. The new admin will have 7 days to activate the Verify Account link in the email to complete the registration process. If the process is not completed within 7 days or if the email was not received, the inviting admin can resend the email from the Manage Administrators view.

6) Upon verifying the account the new admin will be taken to the Voyent Alert! admin log in page. Remind the admin to bookmark this page for easy future access.
